Installing PayMaster

  1. Double-click “PayMasterInstaller.exe” to run the setup for PayMaster.

 

  1. On the window that appears, click “Next”.

 

  1. On the next screen, set Folder to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Virtuosomaster\PayMaster\”. NOTE: No need to change anything if this is already the setting.

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. Continue clicking “Next” until it starts the installation process.

 

  1. Wait for the installation to finish.

 

  1. Click “Close” to close the installation window. NOTE: Do not run PayMaster until you have completed all of the database installation and setup steps that follow.

 

Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2

 

  1. Open your web browser and go to the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/details.aspx?id=30438.

 

  1. Click the red Download button.

 

  1. Check “SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe” and click Next.

 

  1. Run the installer after it is finished downloading.

 

  1. On the SQL Server Installation Center window, click “New installation or add features to an existing installation”.

 

  1. On the SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup window, on License Terms, check “I accept the license terms”.

 

  1. Click “Next” and wait for the process to finish.

 

  1. On Feature Selection, under Features, check “Database Engine Services”, “SQL Server Replication”, and “SQL Client Client Connectivity SDK”.
  1. Set “Shared feature directory” to “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\” and “Shared feature directory (x86)” to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\”. NOTE: No need to change anything if these are already the settings.

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. On Instance Configuration, choose “Named instance” and input “SQLEXPRESS” in the following textbox. NOTE: No need to change anything if these are already the settings.

 

  1. Input “SQLEXPRESS” in the textbox following “Instance ID” and input “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\” in the textbox following “Instance root directory”. NOTE: No need to change anything if these are already the settings.

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. On Server Configuration, keep everything as they are.

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. On Database Engine Configuration, under Authentication mode, choose “Windows authentication mode”. NOTE: No need to change anything if this is already the setting.

 

  1. Under Specify SQL Server administrators, click “Add Current User”.

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. On Error Reporting, keep everything as they are.

 

  1. Click “Next” and wait for the installation to finish.

 

  1. Click “Close” after the installation.
  1. Close the SQL Server Installation Center window by clicking the X on the upper right corner of the window.

 

Installing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 19

 

  1. Open your web browser and go to the following link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms?view=sql-server-ver16.

 

  1. Click on “Free Download for SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 19.0.2”.

 

  1. Run the installer after it is finished downloading.

 

  1. On the window that follows, set Location to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 19”. NOTE: No need to change anything if this is already the setting.
  1. Click “Install” and wait for the process to finish.

 

  1. Click “Close” after the installation is done.
